UFV ARE USAID GRANT’s SUB-RECIPIENTS

Ukrainian Food Valley, with the support of the USAID Agricultural and Rural Development Program in Ukraine – AGRO, implemented by Cheimonics International, will implement the GESI Winter School program, which will run from January 2021 to January 2022.

This program will help women farmers and under-represented groups in agribusiness to run their businesses more effectively, sell their farm products and take advantage of new agricultural opportunities, take responsibility and manage the risks associated with the introduction of innovative production technologies.

It can also help women /individuals from underrepresented groups to diversify their production activities by branching out into non-agricultural enterprises, which is an important mechanism for reducing risks and developing a more stable year-round income.

The AGRO program is a five-year project funded by USAID and implemented by Chemonics International and aims to accelerate the economic development of Ukraine’s most needy rural communities by improving agricultural sector governance to promote more productive, modern and profitable, small and medium agricultural enterprises (SMEs), which will be successfully integrated into competitive Ukrainian and international markets, details: https://www.facebook.com/usaid.agro/
