UNICLAD – INTERNATIONAL PROJECT ERASMUS+
Ukrainian Food Valley is a participant in the project “Increasing the capacity of universities to initiate and participate in the development of clusters on the principles of innovation and sustainability” (abbreviated – UniClaD), co-financed by ERASMUS +, a program of the European Union!
The aim of the 36-month project is to develop the potential of universities as part of agro-industrial clusters. Creation of innovation centers as prerequisites for the development and successful operation of agro-industrial clusters.
The project aims to create 8 expert centers in universities in cooperation with partner companies, which in the future will be able to transform into real clusters.
The centers of expertise will be dedicated to various areas: aquaculture and water management, milk production and processing, IT technologies in mechanical engineering, biotechnology in poultry, rural tourism, which will have an impact on local development.
The main objectives of the UniClaD project are:
– chain development: master – graduate student – researcher as a primary part and researcher – designer – performer as a secondary part;
-involvement of business, local authorities, science and education in cooperation within clusters based on the principles of win-win;
– increasing the potential of business, science and education for development and work within the cluster.
