UFV representative participated in the conference held in Baku within the UniClaD Program ERASMUS+ Project
Iuliia Galchynska, the scientific consultant of Ukrainian Food Valley Public Union, participated in the Workshop and Final conference activities of the UniClaD project (“Increasing the capacity of universities to initiate and participate in the development of clusters with the principles of innovation and sustainability”), implemented within the framework of the European Union’s “ERASMUS+ KA2” program. The UniClaD project consortium includes partners from Austria, Hungary Lithuania, Italy, Poland, Spain which shared the experience of agro-industrial clusters creation within the frames of the university, and Moldova, Ukraine and Azerbaijan partners which accepted this experience.
The Workshop and Final conference were organized by the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) in cooperation with the UniClaD project consortium and were held between the September 30 and October 2 2024 in Baku, Azerbaijan based at the AzTU premises.
The workshop activities included the expert centers presentations. The expert centers were created within the UniClaD project assistance in Ukraine, Moldova and Azerbaijan. The presentations were considered in the following areas:
– “agriculture and processing of agro-food products with a focus on local products”;
– “biotechnologies and poultry farming”;
– “rural tourism”;
– “aquaculture and water management”.
The final conference was attended by about 60 representatives of UniClaD project partners and external interested organizations, including higher education institutions, research centers, and industrial and private companies. The purpose of the final conference is to present the results of the UniClaD project to external stakeholders.
